Mangaluru: Rain, lightning lash twin-districts

Mangaluru, May 8: Heavy rain along with lightning and thunder was received all along the twin-districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi on the night of Monday May 7.

The rain was also accompanied by strong wind.

It rained for over 30 minutes from 9.45 pm onwards. It was very difficult for vehicles to move.

Karkala in particular soaked in heavy rain, as a result of which rising temperature that had made life difficult for the people came down.

    Af,,, Mangalore : sir I have heard few people saying Modi is responsible for bad weather. It was not heard from third person. Infact the person told to me only. That person told until and unless Modi & BJP is not out of Central govt till that time the weather will not be good. and I guess the same person must have told yesterday that as Rahul came to Mangalore last week it rained.
