Mangalore: RAF Takes out Route March in City

Mangalore, Oct 7: To drive home the point that law and order situation in the city is under control and to infuse confidence among the local citizens to celebrate the Navaratri festival without any apprehensions, a route march was taken out through the city roads on the evening of Monday October 6, by contingents of Rapid Action Force (RAF) and police forces.

Senior officials of the District Armed Reserve Police (DAR) and the civil police accompanied the RAF in the route march.

The march, which began from the premises of the District Armed Reserve Police office at about 6 pm, went through the office of the deputy commissioner, Rao and Rao Circle, Mission Street, Lower Car Street, Kandat Palli, Jodu Palli, Kambla Cross, Alake, Chitra Junction, Car Street, Bhavanti Street, Hampankatta Signal, Railway Cross and P M Rao Road to conclude at the DAR office.
