Chitradurga: Couple defies superstition, gets married during lunar eclipse

Daijiworld Media Network – Chitradurga (EP)

Chitradurga, Jul 28: A couple has become a model by challenging superstition and getting married during lunar eclipse.

The wedding Rangappa Nayak and Vasantha Kumari, residents of Hoovinahole, Hiriyoor was held in Murugha Math, Kotenadu in the district during lunar eclipse on Friday, July 27.

Hundreds of boys and girls too were ordained with Lingadeekshe on the occasion.

Dr Shivamurthy Murugha Shree of the Math said that lunar eclipse is an amazing event of the world. “It is not blood moon but amazing moon. There is nothing inauspicious in the world. Everything in the world is auspicious. We have come out from the slavery of British but are living in the slavery of almanac. Innocent people are being misguided by some people who have created fear among them. The fear should be driven away by incidents such as these,” he said.

Good or bad time is all Gods wish. Nothing can change your fate unless the God's decide.
So belief in yourself and stong faith in one another is best ground for marraiage.

All the best for your new happy married life. Hope the God keep you happy.

I join several others in complimenting Dr. Shivamurthy Murugha Shree on his. version about Lunar eclipse. This will help people to drive away strange notions about seasons etc. to chose time for their marriages etc.

Celestial events never harmed or alarmed human beings...
Our own gurus sadhus and palmists talk about bad omens...
There is nothing in this world which prevents one from doing what he does right...
Go on and live in the face of the superstitions...
They will die down by their own...

Who said it is a bad day. Actually, it is a good day. Because it was a full moon day and was a Friday. There is no problem in getting married on that day even being a lunar eclipse.

Congratulations and our prayers are there with the newly wed(couples) and those who attended the marriage too. In this age of educated India we need to shed all " blind faiths" and be realistic in everything we do. At the same time solid faith in GOD with good deed and brotherhood should be the principles of good society. The simple motto of life should be "One day all have to Die..thats the fact..why not die with some Good deeds!"
