The German lady's Advocate Aires Rodrigues today revealed that it is now confirmed that the mobile phone 9822982323 used by Rohit to send obscene SMS's to the minor girl is registered in the name of his father Atanasio Monseratte.
Rodrigues has stated that charges would also be pressed against the Education Minister who should also be held responsible as his phone was used to mentally and sexually torture the minor.
Earlier in the afternoon it was claimed by the police that the German lady who has accused minister`s son for abusing her minor daughter did not turn up to the police.
"We were expecting the lady to come and give us the details of the actual case so that we could legally lodge a complaint against the accused" said Superintendent of Police Bosco George.
Fadela Fuchs, a German Researcher, based in Goa on the long term visa to India, had accused the education minister`s son Rohit Monseratte of sexually and mentally abusing her 14 year old daughter.
On October 2, the mother of the victim had filed a complaint with the Calangute police station.
"I know that my daughter is being sexually used by a man much older than her, and said that that accused used to contact her daughter through the mobile or internet", Fuchs told reporters here.
She also said that she has already informed the German Embassy regarding this incident. The mother also accused the police of sending a letter almost ten days after she lodged the complaint and also expressed her worry over the way the case is being handled. They would have booked the accused, if he was ordinary boy," she revealled.
