Panaji, Oct 23: As the German mother accused nephew of state minister of raping her child, the accused himself appeared before the media on Thursday October 23 announcing his innocence in the case.
"I do not even know the girl. I do not know why I am being targeted. I have never met the girl victim," Warren who briefed media along with his uncle, public works department minister Churchill Alemao, said.
Earlier in the day, German mother had charged Warren of raping her daughter. Her lawyer Aires Rodrigues had claimed that he has a photograph with girl in compromising position with Warren.
She had said that she got the picture from the internet.
The mother on October 2 had filed complaint against education minister Atanasio Monserratte's 21-year-old son Rohit of raping her minor daughter.
The mother on Thursday said that Warren was involved in the sexual assault along with Rohit.
Coming clean on the entire issue, Warren dared the mother to show the picture. "I am ready to face any inquiry. Even if police wants to inquire I am ready to face them," the 22-year-old businessman said.
While Warren has expressed innocence, Rohit is still missing as police have booked rape case against him.
Warren said that he would move defamation case against mother and her lawyer for involving him in the case.
Meanwhile, mother's lawyer this evening stuck to his charges and said that the mother will officially file complaint against Warren on Friday October 24. "I will produce the photograph before the media, if required," he added.
