Congratulations dear Fr.Charles Vaz. I fully agree with Gerry D'mello, Bendur/Canada who says you truly deserve not only this but any top music awards in this world. Anyone who has heard your hymns or bhajans will agree with this. For those of you who didn't have a chance to hear his music, without exaggerating I would say it's like a hotline between God's spirit and human spirit. Experiment it if you don't believe me. You will not be disappointed. When you feel low in life spiritually or otherwise, this is sure to lift you up. Congratulations once again Father. May the Holy Spirit inspire you to bring out many more hymns/bhajans.

Dear Rev. Fr. Dr. Charles, congratulations to you – it’s no surprise to me, or to any of your SVD colleagues, that you would one day climb the peaks of music, and of course, the awards had to follow sooner or later. Your unique style of spreading the Gospel thru music and dance, throughout India, Europe and other countries, is really admirable. God has gifted you abundantly with the talent of music, and I am proud to be one of your colleagues in Poona, where both of us were taking lessons together in Indian Classical Music. You are a Doctor in Music today, God bless you, I am proud of you.
