Kuwait, oct 31:  “India Day”, a Family festival was celebrated at the Kuwait Entertainment City – Doha, Kuwait on Friday, 31st October, 2008 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.  It was a day filled with loads of fun, exciting rides and entertainment for the entire family and of all age groups.    Delicious and mouth watering Indian cuisine were be available at different Indian stalls.
 
After the fun and frolic from the rides during the day, the evening started with DJ music by DJ Monty at 4:30pm.  The theme of the event was ‘National Integrity’.  The entertainment stage program Started at 5:30 pm with the formal welcome by compere of the day Nita Bhatkar and Shakir Sheikh followed by dance by Sangam Group for the patriotic number ‘Vande Matharam’.  The local dance groups Dhoom, little Stars, Dance Illussion, Twinkle, True Asian Stylers, Sangamam, nach Balliye, Ever Blazing, Habibi and Ballerines entertained the audience with their spectacular dances.







































 

Visiting Artist MC VIK (M.C Vickram) entertained the audience with his fluent talks, songs and dances.  Panna Gil – participant of Indian Idol II steal the hearts of audience with his fast foot tapping dance songs.  The response was tremendous for the Punjabi numbers.  Neha Kakkar participant of “Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar” and well known as “Indian Shakira” entertained the audience to the maximum with her songs and dance along with the Ballerines Kuwait.

Lots of spot prizes were distributed to the audience.  The whole event was managed by Nirvana Entertainment.  The program was sponsored by TNT Express and Kuwait Bahrain Exchange – Western Union.  www.daijiworld.com was media sponsor.
