Udupi: Minister Lays Foundation Stone for 'Anna Brahma' at Krishna Math

Udupi, Nov 11: Janardana Reddy, state Tourism minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of ‘Anna Brahma’ kitchen and dining facility at Sri Krishna Math adjacent to the existing dining hall. The project is estimated to cost around Rs 3.5 crore.
Reddy announced a personal contribution of Rs 25 lac towards this and assured he would try to get government assistance of Rs 1 crore towards the construction of Anna Brahma.
Sri Sugunendrateerta Swami of Puttige Math and Sri Raghumanyateerta Swami of Bheemanakatte Math were present on the dais. Manipal University pro-chancellor Dr Ramdas Pai, released the year 2009 calendar of Sri Krishna on the occasion.
MLAs Raghupathy Bhat and Lalaji R Mendon, Bellary entrepreneur Suresh Shetty, municipal councilor Dinakar Shetty, Udupi Urban Development Authority president Sudhakar Shetty, and A J Hospital and Research Centre chairman A J Shetty, were also present.
