Mangalore, Nov 16: The district crime intelligence police arrested three persons on Sunday November 16, in connection with the murder of Praveen, car driver, near MRPL.

The arrested persons have been identified as Sanshuddin (20), and Ismail Arif (22), resident of Mukka, and Safan Hussain (23), resident of Haleangady. Speaking to mediapersons on Sunday, Sateeshkumar, superintendent of police (SP), said that the accused had taken the victim, and the Innova car he was driving, to a stone quarry, where they assaulted him. Later, they killed him by pushing him into the water stored in the quarry, added Satheeshkumar.

They changed the registration number of the car and tried to steal another car in Padubidri on the same day. They stole ATM cards from a certain Shivakumar, who was driving that particular car. But, Shivakumar managed to escape unharmed. Later, the three accused also robbed a truck driver in Mukka of Rs 60,000. They are believed to have been involved in at least five vehicle robberies, said the SP.

Police also seized three swords, 10 mobile phones, a gold chain, the original number plate of the Innova car, and a bag belonging to Praveen. The cars left by the accused had been seized by Venur and Beltangady police. A search operation is on to arrest another suspect Mayyadi, a resident of Mukka, informed the police official. R Dilip, additional superintendent of police, was also present at the press meet.

Wonderful job done by the Police in arresting the culprits involved in the murder. But all their efforts are bound to go waste as lawyers will bail them out and prove that they are innocent.

These 3 are hard core cirminals. Justice and awareness can only be shown if these 3 are hanged to death at the HampanKatte Main Road so that every Kannadiga is aware of what awaits the outcome of such heinous crimes. Moral of the comment: IF YOU DO NOT ELIMINATE COCKROACHES - MORE COCKROACHES WILL BE BORN TO DO MORE CRIME AND HARM.
