For many age of 59 is the political beginning....,

Who knows he would have taken too much into his mind about correcting the internal party bickerings..., It happened to Late Dr VS Acharya from udupi also....!!!!

Why Holiday ? Ananth kumar hardly did anything noteworthy for Karnataka.First of all the state government hardly works and on top of that these totally unsolicited holidays. HD Kumaraswamy is showing himself to be a regressive useless leader. No vision for the state, keep taking holidays for himself and the government. God save Karnataka from these regressive leaders from all parties.

Don’t be so ungrateful. He was instrumental in the overall development of Bangalore, especially in the construction of new int’l airport at Devanahalli and initiating metro during late ABV’s tenure. He would done more for the state had he got the opportunity to become CM. Indeed a great loss to Karnataka.

Very sad. He may have made a better CM than BSY but never got the chance even when BJP got the chance (DVS & Shetter were preferred for their caste!) because he was a Brahmin and hailed from Hubballi. I have known him quite well as an ordinary Jan Sangh workers and BJP leader for nearly 40 years as a journalist. He was always accessible and treated me and surely others also with respect. But for his illness, who knows he may have become the State's CM as 59 isn't an age to die. BJP has certainly lost key leader. RIP

...RIP.... But do we need a holiday to mourn his death. Forget schools even banks are closed...ridiculous...people had planned their travel and banking activity. Bank more than Rs 500 for a cheque bounce plus 18% GST who will bear the loss. The Supreme Court should take a call on this

PAM Suvarna - I agree. My sympathies are with the family of the departed Ananth Kumar Sir..

Anyway who is this inhuman person who has pressed Disagree here?... A message to this person.....
You don't wish that the soul of any dead person to rest in peace? Death comes like a thief - please note this point. Death comes in any form and at any time. Death does not spare anybody.

Keeping aside our political bias aside, let us all pray that the soul of the departed may Rest in Peace,
