Steve Aoki lists his party picks

Los Angeles, Dec 29 (IANS): After playing in 200 shows this year, electro house musician and record producer Steve Aoki says DJ Snake's "Taki taki" and Zedd's "The middle" were big hits among the crowd.

He spoke about the popular numbers after curating a playlist for Amazon Music.

"I am very excited to share my New Year's Eve party picks. I played 200 shows in 2018 and these are some of the tracks that always go off," Aoki said in a statement.

"Plus, I've included some favourites from my label Dim Mak. Be careful though, if you click this playlist you may get complaints from the neighbours," he added.

Other numbers to feature in his playlist are: "Waste it on me", "Be somebody", "Waist time and "Azukita" amongst others.

Apart from Aoki, some of the other biggest names including Robin Schulz, Sigma, NERVO, Jonas Blue and DJ Snake have curated their own playlist for New Year's Eve for the subscribers of music streaming platform.

Sigma also said: "As DJs, New Year's Eve is our favourite night of the year, and we can't wait to bring the party vibes to many-a-house party via our playlist."

The DJ-selected tracks include classics like Steve Angello and Laidback Luke's "Show me love" and Stardust's "Music sounds better with you" (included by Jonas Blue); and recent hits including Loud Luxury's breakout hit "Body" (chosen by NERVO) and Calvin Harris and Sam Smith's "Promises" (picked by Felix Jaehn).
