Udupi: 'Abhivyakti' released at Tenth Year Celebration of Working Journalists Association

Udupi, Dec 29: The tenth anniversary celebration of Working Journalist Association was held at Udupi on Sunday December 28.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Jayaprakash Mavinakuli, professor, MGM College said that the photos should be heart touching. Societal changes can be possible through photos. The photo was responsible to attain peace during the Vietnam war. Try be be creative in every shot.
Keshav Vittal, photographerher, Dinesh Kini, president, Working Journalist Association and Suji Kurya, secretary co-ordinated the programme.
Prakash Shetty's caricature exhibition was inaugurated on the occasion while Keshav Vittal's photo's on 'Dogs' attracted the audience.
Delivering the lecture on investigative reporting, Ravindra Reshme, editor, Vikrant Karnataka said that there was no specific segment known as Investigative journalism.it do not need special training. Any matter observed with little care and written what you see will become investigative journalism.
The investigative journalism does not require dialogues. It should not create anger but must have the responsibility to that effects the society he said.
The workshop on news anchoring by Jayaprakash Shetty was conducted . Later the award winning film 'Kada Beladingalu' was telecasted on the occasion.
The book release of 'Abhivyakti' involving the articles of journalists was held on the occasion.
B Suresh, director, small screen delivered the speech on the occasion.
Damodfhar Aital, founder president, Working Journalist Association and Satish Pai, president, Taluk Working Journalist Association were felicitated by the association.
