‘Need people like Prakash Raj in Parliament’, says Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi, Jan 10 (PTI): Actor Prakash Raj, who recently announced he would contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the national capital on Thursday, with the latter saying that his Aam Aadmi Party "fully supports" him.

The actor, who has been vocal about his views on the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Centre, met the chief minister at his official residence in the Civil Lines. Last week, Raj had said that he would contest the upcoming general elections from the Bengaluru Central constituency as an independent candidate.

"We need people like Prakash Raj to enter Parliament. Prakash ji, it was great meeting u today. AAP fully supports u and we agree wid ur decision to fight as an independent candidate. We need independent and non-partisan voices too in Parliament," Kejriwal tweeted.

According to Raj, he discussed ways with the chief minister to address various issues.

Raj has also been one of those seeking justice for his friend and senior journalist Gauri Lankesh, who was shot outside her residence in September 2017.

Dear Rajesh Why you are comparing Modi to Hafeez, Dawwod and other anti-national forces. Too bad.

By defeating Modi, they won't become saints. Still, they will be punished because of their criminal activities. Personally, Modi is a good human, but his thoughts, views, and practice are so stupid. So, we all need and help him to correct his bad and evil attitudes. Jai Hind.

@Nash mangalore,Making India a biggest manufacturing Industry will remain only a dream .One who wants to make it come true ,shouldnt open the mouth and announce loud, but first make it and then show to all .Chinese are far far more further than others. They make it silently without anybodys notice and show ,then only world opens mouth to astonish. We have to work hard on anything to come our dream true.Where corruption is ,nothing will function properly. If we want everything is possible.Only unity and hard work. Not thinking of rich
poor ,minority, majority, caste, religion ,and cows ,horse, here we are simply break.

This is the problem in India.. People are so negative, they dont want to settle in India, but come in queue to preach that this country cannot develop.. Wonderful.. Modi is encouraging self employment with Mudra loan, Make In India plans.. many youngesters have taken up, working hard and are so happy and thankful..Alas, the self certified elites keep saying .' hey look we cannot beat china.. ok,? sit down'. kind of preaching . Who is resposible for this lagging behind for decades? Who is reason for neck deep curruptions? it is difficult to understand? why so much lenient towards the currupt criminal dynasty?
