‘Noite de Goa’ in Dubai on Feb 15 – Remo and Lorna to perform

Dubai, Feb 7: For the first time ever an amalgamation of art, culture and music to be presented onto a single platform.
‘Noite de Goa 2019’, an evening curated by ‘The Yard’ will be making its debut in Dubai on February 15 at the Club House Terrace, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

The state of Goa is known as the pearl of the orient and recognized for its rich cultural heritage which includes an array of folk songs, dances, music, visual arts and folk tales. The musical evening will encapsulate the heart of every Goan – their enthusiasm and love for their ethnicity.

‘Noite de Goa’ will create a platform that will rekindle nostalgia in the hearts of every Goan. It is focused at attracting and uniting Goans all over the world.



The maiden show, will present two legends live in concert - pop musician Remo Fernandes and Goa’s nightingale Lorna. In addition to the exciting line-up with Goa’s most talked about stage comedians Prince Jacob and John D’Silva, Dubai’s dazzling duo Mario & Chryslyn and Sanio Fernandes a breath of fresh air in music.

The musical evening is dedicated towards bringing together the Konkani speaking communities, who are actively engaged in music, art and culture in the UAE. It aims at strengthening the culture with music, song & drama, thereby letting each Goan reminisce their roots as well as Mumbai and Mangaluru counterparts.

‘The Yard’ gives this opportunity to the music lovers in UAE to witness this momentous evening.
