Mangaluru: State-level undergraduate fest 'Excelso’ inaugurated at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Feb 7: Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho inaugurated 'Excelso 2019' a state- level undergraduate inter-collegiate commerce, management, science and literary fest at Milagres College on Thursday, February 7.

Addressing the gathering Fr Richard said, "Milagres College has become one of the premier institutions since its inception which provides quality education. Milagres College has progressed well in academics, culture as well as in sports,”

 

“A fest like ‘Excelso’ is a platform for students to exhibit their talents. During the competition, you should learn from others and build good rapport. I wish the best for the students who will take part in this event,” he added.

Chief manager of Indian Bank H Ramesha said, "It is a privilege to be part of the inaugural ceremony of ‘Excelso’. Milagres is a brand since several years. The fest gives you an opportunity to express yourself and a platform to exhibit talents as you aim for victory in the competition.”

Michael Santhumayor, principal, Milagres College, welcomed the gathering. Academic adviser Prof Lourdswamy, vice president of parish pastoral council Cecilia Pereira, staff coordinator Glancia Roche, president of student council Savio D’Souza and others were present.
