The transport department is a silent spectator. Why is the Government/local body not allowing mini bus service from airport to Bajpe bus stand and Mangalore Bus stand? If this facility is provided rickshaw drivers cannot cheat, as the passengers with small luggage will switch over to such mini-bus, resulting in autos to lose their business of cheating. It is high time, Mini bus service is introduced from/to airport, for the benefit of air passengers and/or their family members who go to airport, either to drop or receive the air-passengers.

It is wrong on the part of taxi drivers to prevent OLA / Uber to operate from airport. All other major airports are serviced by these OLA / Uber taxis.
A passenger has a right to choose any airline to fly and similarly he should have the liberty to use any mode of road transport to / from airport.
Let there be a competition to the benefit of passengers.

    Let there be competition.
When constitution allowed compitition even at the parliament, rule makers, why taxis want monopoly? To loot passengers and fill their bellies!
Never give in to pressure tactics or goodaism, which is against the tenets of our constitution and fair competition.

Cancel their airport licenece. Others will get the message. Most of the drivers at airport lack basic etiquette. Let the fliers decide whether they want ola or airport cab

Sad that either local police or security at the airport is not able to protect common men.
Why beat someone, when he is earning legally and paying tax to the government?

There is always great value for good quality customer service. Doesn't matter whether it is a local taxi, Uber or Ola.
Customers will stick to quality service that they receive.

Ola and Uber, the cheap and best ! everyone knows. These local auto/taxi drivers are looting at amazing rate.

Once travelled in train in general coach from Goa to Mangalore railway station at approximately 280 Rs. ; reached very early morning at Kankanady.

Astonishingly, auto driver looted at Rs 400 fare for hiring from Kankanady railway station to near PVS !!!
