Siblings killed in road mishap at Murudeshwar, two children injured

Murudeshwar, Feb 13: A road accident at Murudeshwar, NH 66 on February 13, claimed life of siblings Afreen Mukhtasar (30) and Kaif Mukhtasar (19).

The deceased are residents of Manki in Honnavar Taluk. Two children Ahmed (5) and Azmat (3) suffer serious injuries and have been shifted to Manipal Hospital.

The accident occurred between a two-wheeler and tempo at Bailoor near Murudeshwar.

Kaif Mukhtasar was a student of Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application and was pursuing BBA.

The siblings were staying in Nawayath Colony, Bhatkal in a rented house. On Wednesday around 3:30 pm they left Bhatkal to meet their parents in Manki. It is said that Afreen's husband is staying In Kuwait.

A case has been registered in Murudeshwar police station. After the postmortem body will be handed over to family members.
