Raichur, Feb 14: Sharanagouda Kandkur, son of Gurmitkal MLA, Naganagouda Kandkur, filed complaint with the district superintendent of police here on Wednesday February 13, relating to the audio recording containing conversation between him and BJP leaders. He has named four persons in his complaint including BJP state president, B S Yeddyurappa.

Sharanagouda reached the city from Gurmitkal on Wednesday February 13 afternoon accompanied by hundreds of his supporters, and handed over a complaint running into three pages to the district superintendent of police. Speaking to media persons thereafter, he explained that he has charged BJP state president, B S Yeddyurappa, Devadurga MLA, K Shivanagouda Nayaka, Hassan MLA, Preetham Gowda, and journalist Maramakal, in the complaint, accusing them of offering him lure of money.

"I have given full details of the incident which happened that day and even provided copy of the audio CD," he stated.

Sharanagouda stated that he wanted to jump into the fray as there were rumours among the people of his constituency about Congress MLAs parting ways with their party in an effort to unseat the chief minister and government. "When Yeddyurappa called me that night, I immediately contacted chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy. He asked me to meet Yeddyurappa if he had invited. I know Shivanagouda Nayak since long. He invited me over phone to come to Devadurga. I told him that I would come the next morning but changed my plan after Yeddyurappa took phone in his hand and asked me to come immediately," he said.

Sharanagouda held a meeting at Yadagiri with his supporters till midnight on Tuesday about filing complaint against Yeddyurappa and Shivanagouda. He also obtained legal advice. On Wednesday afternoon, he began his journey along with supporters to Raichur.

Sharanagouda said that he and his party workers from the constituency are loyal to chief minister, Kumaraswamy, and he wants Kumaraswamy to serve the state for full five years. He said he used the opportunity that came his way to ensure that Kumaraswamy remains as the chief minister of Karnataka.

I wish yeddyji will keep away from his political activities as he already reached ripe age, because these bjpwalas will compel him to do the all dirty works because modi amit shah saved him from court cases by influencing Indian judiciary. By considering his age he should not sent again to jail. Taking sanysism in his political life is only option left with him
