I beg to disagree with the comments from Chandra Shetty. It really does not matter how long Sonia Gandhi took before she became an Indian citizen. Many others would have done the same to weigh the pros and cons before changing citizenship. But what is important is that once she took the considered decision, she has proved herself an Indian in every way. When our Indians like Bobby Jindal get coveted posts in America or any other country, we are elated and pat ourselves. When a foreigner takes Indian citizenship and ascends to the top, then we consider it a blot on our self respect. How long will it take us to get over this doublespeak and hypocrisy? Have we forgotten Dr. Annie Besant who was also a Congress president at one time? Come, let us be impartial in our judgment and value system.

Dear Mr. Vishal, The top ten which I commented is a five years brief period of BJP’s (NDA) rule. If they were given 40 years like Congress (congress works for all irrespective caste creed colour and religion), India might had been set a part.

Late P.M., Indira Gandhi became a victim for protecting the sovereignty and integrity of India. The most successful event carried out by her was to stem atrocities against East Bengal by the Pakistanis thereby liberating east Bengal and presently Bangladesh. As you have written am I a spokes person? I am not a spokesperson of Congress or BJP. It is my right to comment on this blog to enlighten citizens from wrong doers. When we have 1 billion Indians, we dont need advice from a foreigner who took decades to get citizenship despite living in India. People who supoort just look at the mirror and think why we struggled so much time for independence. This case is only possible in India because people are so low at self respect.

Yes Mr. Gonsalves: You are right. BJP is damaging the image of India. They are not at all concerned about the suffering people of India, or minorities. People still vote for them. It is high time to vote out BJP from India. India is not for Hindus or Hinduthwa, India is for Indians. Its a secular country and the largest democratic country in the world and we should be proud of it, and people should fight for the constitutional rights of India not for the communal rights. Congress is the only party which can rule the Nation with peace and harmony.

Top Ten Failures of Bjp (NDA) Government:

1) Even if intelligence was available about Pakistanis infiltrated in Kargil why not acted promptly? How many soldiers died? Scores of money was offered by the citizens to the soldiers do they receive what the citizens and country men offered? War was won only through former President Bill Clinton pressed hard to pull out Pakistani forces from Indian soil. If not also we would have won but catastrophically.

2) Parliament attack during bjp period (Presently Congress (UPA) has cleared from its stand to hang Afzal Guru but his mercy petition is with President who is to decide).

3) Akshardhama temple attack by the terrorists.

4) How the Hijacked plane from Nepal to Punjab flew out of Indian soil only because Sushma Swaraj’s Husband was in the plane?

5) Mr. Jaswanth Singh was a chief guest of honor in the plane to bid farewell to Criminal Azar Masood to Kandahar, Afghanistan. 6) Violence against Christians in Gujarat. 7) Churches attacked in Karnataka by terrorists of Deendar Anjuman.

8) Ahmadabad bomb blasts.

9) Godhra carnage and aftermath violence in Gujarat.

10) Even if POTA was existed during BJP’s tenure what was the use of that? Are not specified above failures while BJP was in power?

Apart from above many public service units were privatized by NDA during its tenure. See the fate of Satyam Computers. It is the Congress government took initiative to protect 65,000 employees of Satyam Computers.
