Metro's Konkani Drama Troupe to Take Part in Daiji Dubai Drama Competitions

A Konkani drama troupe from the city will be arriving in Mangalore on Saturday February 14, in association with Kutam, a city-based Konkani illustrated weekly, to take part in the Konkani drama competition being organized by Daiji Dubai. 
 


The Konkani drama troupe will stage the play, 'Fulak Sairik Jalya,' Konkani drama by playwright and Konkani littérateur Joker Cascia, at  the Konkani drama competitions which will be directed by Kutam editor and publisher Henry D'Paula.
 
Metro's veteran Konkani dramatists Edwin Banz Sastan, Florine Mathias Kananjar, Robert Noronha Kallianpur, Irene Rodrigues Taccode, Hilda D'Souza Pangla, Suraj Machado Shanktinagar, Anil Pinto Permai, Herald D'Souza and William Kumar Kinnigoli will be led by Joker Cascia.
 
Daiji Dubai will be organizing the Konkani drama competition from Saturday February 14 to Thursday February 19, at Don Bosco Hall, Mangalore.  The Konkani troupe from other towns across the nation including Mangalore, Mumbai and Goa are set to take part in Daiji Dubai drama competition.
