Udupi, Mar 8:
Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa paid a visit to the ‘Nagabrahmastana’ in Moodanidamburu near Bannanje here on Saturday March 7.

Yeddyurappa was on his way to Yellur to participate in the ‘Brahmakalashostava’ of Vishweshwara Temple. Allegedly, MLA Lalaji Mendon had vowed to perform ‘Ashlesha Bali Puja’ during the last assembly election if Yeddyurappa came to power in the state.

The reason for the visit to the Nagabrahmastana is said to be to fix a date for the puja.

Radhakrishna Upadyaya performed a special puja. MLA Lalaji Mendon, former MP Ayanoor Manjunath, MLA Raghupathy Bhat, and Dinakara Shetty, were also present on the occasion.
