Kundapur, Apr 4: “The Modi led BJP government which came to power by making only false promises in 2014 elections have not implemented even one of the promises. PM Modi has made the lives of ordinary people unstable with unscientific decisions such as note ban, GST implementation etc. He is indirectly responsible for the increase of black money. Using the sacrifices of soldiers guarding the nation for political campaign shows his nature,” said chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.

He was speaking after inaugurating conference of fisherwomen held on behalf of Congress and JD(S) coalition candidate at Kundapur Nehru Maidan on Wednesday, April 3.

Kumaraswamy further asked, “Why are the central government agencies unable to investigate the origin of several crores of black money that is held by BJP leaders, which is used to buy MLAs from opposition parties? PM Modi should place before the people the origin of Rs 550 crore held anonymously out of corporate bonds worth Rs 1,027 crore,”

“Modi who has not given a definite programme for the country can never become the Prime Minister again. Communal enmity for politics is being promoted in the coastal region. Our youths should not become victims of such lure. The coalition government has shown determination in its term to maintain peace in the coast. People should teach a lesson to the BJP candidate who did not pay attention to the growth of the constituency even after becoming Lok Sabha member for the entire term,” he said.

Coalition candidate for Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency Pramod Madhwaraj said that the economic condition of the country faced setback during the NDA rule.

“State government has increased compensation for deceased fishermen and brought about several other schemes. Modi government has not responded positively to any problems of fishermen including finding the missing fishermen. Why is Paresh Mestha case not solved even after a year since CBI started handling it? The people in the state should get the answer,” said former MLA K Gopal Poojary.

“Congress and JD(S) activists had carried bricks for Ram Mandir with devotion. Those who collected donations in its name are BJP and organisation heads. BJP should inform where the money and bricks have gone,” said former MLA U R Sabhapathi.

Minister Dr Jayamala also spoke at the programme. Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes, Blossom Fernandes, Vidhan Parishad member S L Bhoje Gowda, district Congress president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, JD(S) district president Yogish Shetty, Intec state president Rakesh Mally, Congress and JD(S)’s Malyadi Shivarama Shetty, Vikas Hegde, Dinesh Putran, Narasimha Murthy, B Hirianna, Jyothi Putran, Mani Gopal, Shanker Kunder, Madan Kumar, Sabladi Manjayya Shetty, Shalini Shetty, Hussain Hykady, Kishore Kumar, Srikanth Adiga, Kedoor Sadananda Shetty, Pradeep Kumar Shetty Gundibettu, Hariprasad Shetty, Sandesh Bhat, Munnor Ibrahim, Prakash Shetty Thekkatte, Anitha Shetty, Devananda Shetty, S Raju Poojary, Mogaveera organisation’s Jaya Kotian, K K Kanchan, fishermen association’s Rathna Dinesh Putran, Congress IT cell’s Chandrashekar Shetty, Manoj, Chandra Ameen and Icchitartha Shetty were present.

State Congress leader M A Gafoor welcomed. U R Sabhapathi compered the programme.

In 2014 anti incumbency factor was running high.
Anna Hazare, Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, IPS Kiran Devi, V.K. Singh like many prominent figures worked too hard I support of Modi. Crude oil prices, inflation issues were harped upon.
Modi also vigorously campaigned, gave lots of promises and assurances to the people.
People gave him a chance, expecting better days. This time they realised the facts!
So the voting pattern will change.

HDK is just counting his days as CM . He knows the coalition is just pretending 'all is well' and hanging in there till this LS elections. If BJP wins max seats in Ktaka, he is a gone case . Thats one reason , Dodda Gowdru and rest of the clan are fielding their family members. They know after May 23 they need some other strategy to make money . But yeah Modi and HDD are very good friends, The BJP will fix him a retirement plan for the next 5 years. In the long run only Congi is going to suffer from the coalition, they will lose everything.
