Riyadh, Apr 15: As a result of the campaign that began in November 2017, nearly 2.95 million residency, work and border security systems violators have been arrested in Riyadh.
According to an official report by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), there have been 2,943,570 offenders, including 2,294,682 for violating residency regulations, 451,130 for labor violations and 197,758 for border violations since the campaign began in November 2017.
50 percent of Yemeni citizens, 47 percent of Ethiopians and 3 percent of other nationalities were arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom.
400,212 were transferred to their respective diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents; 500,102 were transferred to complete their travel reservations; and 740,785 were deported.
