Mangaluru, May 6: In a shocking incident that occurred at Preeti Nagar near Shakthinagar in city, a man stabbed two children accusing them of making noise and causing nuisance while playing near his house.

Police have arrested Devaraju alias Annu (40), a resident of Shakthinagar, in this connection.

Hardik (4) and Chirag (9), who got injured due to the stabbing, are being treated in a hospital in the city.

As the children are having summer holidays, sibling Hardik and Chirag were playing along with their friends in front of their house. Devaraju suddenly came out with a knife and accused the children of causing nuisance and attempted to attack them. While other children ran to safety, the accused caught Hardik and Chirag and stabbed them on their hands, heads and faces.

The parents and other neighbours, who rushed after hearing the screams of both brothers, shifted the children immediately to a hospital in the city. It is said that both the boys are out of danger.

Kankanady police, who registered a case in this regard, arrested the culprit. Devaraju was remanded to judicial custody subsequently.

This is the height of cruelity.A area without childrens noice ,a house without children is not worth living, very silent. What a cruel man is this one?Was he as a child too so silent as he thinks? And to hurt children because of noice is too hard. One should arrange with situations.when he finds too loud, just tell them not to be loud..He should pay the bill for treatment of the children.Let him go and live where there are no children when he wants. But attacking them with knife is certainly voilent attack ,no go.

This Annu must have been thoroughly stabbed by the locals present there. Merciless fellow. Not fit to be human being. Must have been inebriated or under the influence of drugs.
