BJP launches 'knock the door' campaign in Varanasi

Varanasi, May 14 (IANS): ‘Knock the door' is the BJP campaign in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers have been directed to knock on every door and seek votes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urge people to cast their votes on the polling day.

This campaign has been initiated to ensure a high percentage of polling in the Prime Minister's constituency on May 19.

Over 10,000 BJP leaders and workers from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi have arrived in Varanasi to help in the campaign.

"Our workers will visit every home in Varanasi with voters' slip and convince people to cast their votes. People usually become complacent when they know that their candidate - Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this case - is winning but we are working for a much bigger margin of victory for the Prime Minister," said a local BJP leader.

The campaign has been started at the behest of BJP President Amit Shah who will be monitoring its progress every day till the campaign ends.

According to sources, every party worker has been entrusted the responsibility of visiting ten homes. The workers will be required to furnish details of the homes they visit at the party office.

The campaign has been launched even as Congress leaders are making hectic preparations for the scheduled roadshow of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on May 15.

The BJP workers will follow a similar campaign in the neighbouring Chandauli constituency where state BJP President Mahendra Nath Pandey is contesting. He is facing a tough challenge from the SP-BSP alliance candidate Sanjay Chauhan.

This time in Varanasi real fight between 'nakli chowkidar' Air Chief Marshal Modi who claimed his IAF planners were putting off the Balakot air strikes because of bad weather, but his operational genius perceived that cloud cover would help the aircraft exfiltrate. And the 'Asli Fauji' who was disqualified by the Election commission of India bowing to the orders of BJP_RSS.

If 'Banarese' citizens of respect the 'Asli Chowkidar' whose only fault is complaining the substandard food to be sacked from BSF should avenge not voting for PM Modi.

A piece of advice to all the Bhakths

Knock the door at your own risk, People are angry. Cloud may not come to your rescue if someone wants to unleash his anger.

Beware, Radar scientist may say you will be undetected due to clouds. Believing him you may a get a chance to see stars in the broad daylight.

Better you take an invisible digital camera with you (May be invented in the next century) to take photos as evidence.

This very clearly indicates, Modi is nervous of his own seat.

Party workers from other states is to show the strength. For 10,000people if one calculates the costs even at INR3,000 per whole episode, costs 3crore to a very minimum. What is the need if Modi was so popular and people trust him that much.

Yea, the usual terminology is they are coming at their own expense. That is a lie and all know it. They are not doing it protecting boarders.

Hope that good sense prevails, as Modi already messed the countries economy, wrecked the social fabric and democratic institutions, pushed youth, farmers, middle class to more anxiety towards future, corrupt and criminals to go scot-free, media bankrupt from its usual path of honesty.
So, Modi is not the answer, but the biggest speed breaker.
