Bantwal: Youngster arrested for disturbing home-alone lady at night

Bantwal, Aug 4: Police have arrested a youth on the allegation of knocking the door of a woman, who was alone at home and abusing her at night. 

Puneet Prasad (20), a resident of Kula in Vittal of the taluk, is the person who was arrested by the police. 

The old lady, who was harassed by Puneet, is staying alone in the house as her husband is no more and her sons are working abroad. The woman was sleeping in the night, when the accused knocked the door. When the woman peeped from the window, Puneet started abusing her with filthy language. 

A case in this connection stands registered at Vittal police station.

    The children of this home-alone lady should act sensibly in this regard. How can they think of letting her stay alone when everyone knows India isn't a safe country ? Atleast CCTV cameras and dogs should be kept in such homes. Thank God nothing worse happened because these days nobody can be trusted.

    Rolf Dubai,instead of a cow best to keep a cricketball bat or baseball bat near the pillow.why shouldnt a lady stay alone?should such young chics start to abuse a senior lady?No respect?or filthy way of thinking?horrible.Doesnt he have any parents?He is best inside four walls of jail safe otherwise others are in danger.I dont mind when public take him to task and teach lesson..

    When this lady knows she is all alone she has to keep a fierce dog a mans best best and honest friend.Dog is so dynamic that his presence is sufficient to keep him away from entering the house.
