    While appreciating your action, would like to inform to your good office that, the city buses and private buses are being driven very fast. They emit so much of CO2. Rash driving has caused fear among public. I do not see a city bus or private express bus stopped. It's all for common people. Hope you will stop politicians car also some day. Until then you may please continue to advertise your actions

    As usual, Traffic police have put up barriers for preventing vehicles from parking on various road where actually parking was allowed till today. Reasons best known to them. But the usual solution to any problem by Traffic Police is, "wherever people are parking" put NO Parking boards.

    They think that all problems will get solved.

    They have no guts to remove boards put by private buildings on road belonging to corporation, showing "parking for customers only". Why are the police not taking any action on such illegal boards.
    Why are police not stopping two wheelers from parking in few places that are available for 4 wheelers. Why are parking police quiet about huge amount of road being blaocked by unauthorised autorickshaw parking. Even in authorised parking spaces for taxies and autos any major city in India has the restriction of 4 to 6 vehicles allowed to park at a time. In Mangalore, about 50 autorickshaws are allowed to park in Milagres Lane blocking entire traffic.

    what is the great achievement by removing dark films when such grave problems are not resolved?

    If there is tint it will not be possible for the CCTV cameras to capture footage of drivers talking on phone or not wearing seatbelt. Same case for faulty number plates , as such number plates will lead to mistakes while dispatching violation notice based on CCTV footage

    Weldon Dr Harsha . Very good action. But why our Police departments failed to do this action all these years.??. Secoundly that while booking the car or vehicle, Police department must ask with the owners of the shop that from which shop they have fixedit..So Police must take immediate action against those shops and book them . The fine should be more and warning letter to them.

    Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989, paragraph 100.1.(ii).[(2) states:

    The glass of the wind screen and rear window of every motor vehicle shall be such and shall be maintained in such a condition that the visual transmission of light is not less than 70%. The glasses used for side windows are such and shall be maintained in such condition that the visual transmission of light is not less than 50% and shall conform to Indian Standards IS: 2553 (Part 2)];

    Thus tint is allowed while remaining in compliance to above rule.

    For 498 cars Rs. 49,800 means Rs. 100 per car. I don't know how much does it cost to put the tint once again but definitely has the department made a report of these 498 cars to call them back to the police station after a month or two to check whether they have put the tint once again. If not it is failed method. For the first time Rs. 100 for the second Rs 1000 and for the third 10,000 increase the fine ten times so that they will have not have the balls to do it again. I want the police to give me a report of these 498 cars after one or two month.

    It should be done on a daily basis why only on these four days. The police get salary for the whole month. Now the cars whose black film is removed will go and get it done again. The police should remove the tint daily and any car.

    Why is police not fining the highway authorities for not maintaining the road.
    Such a pathetic road conditions and no action against the authorities who are responsible for this.
    Because of these sad roads, common man is facing issues of extra fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance and breakdown, traffic block, pollution, getting late to work/ school/ colleges and most importantly loss of human life due to accidents.

    OPEN your EYES and focus on the issue which is causing more nuisance than these petty nonsense of troubling the public further.
