Mangaluru: Srinivas College of Pharmacy hosts faculty development programme

Mangaluru, Sep 17: Srinivas College of Pharmacy here, in association with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru and Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) are organizing a two day faculty development programme on 'Basic Course in Education Methodology' (Level-I, Phase-I) on September 16 and 17.

Dr Sharan J Shetty, senate member, RGUHS, Bengaluru was chief guest of the inaugural function. He advised all the participants to adopt innovative methods in teaching and create interest among the student community.

Dr A R Shabaraya, principal and director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy presided over the function and explained the need for creative teaching methods in education.

Dr Munir Ahmed R, director, RAATI, Bengaluru and Dr M R Attar, Bharatesh HMC, Belagavi were present as resource persons to conduct the programme. Dr E V S Subrahmanyam, professor, Srinivas College of Pharmacy welcomed the guests and introduced the gathering.

Dr Krishnananda Kamath K, professor proposed the vote of thanks. Ananya Bhattacharjee and Indranil Ganguly anchored the programme. Delegates from different Pharmacy colleges of Kerala and Karnataka participated in the programme.
