St Xavier’s College Organises Exhibition to Mark Its 140th Year

Mumbai, Jul 18: As part of the 140th year celebrations of St Xavier’s College, Mumbai the college has organized an exhibition which was inaugurated on Friday July 17.

The exhibition will be held up to Saturday July 18 at the college hall. Various departments will share details of their history and achievements over the years, their present activities and career opportunities in the varied fields.

The exhibition will end with the Honours Programme Convocation on Saturday at 4.00 pm. Goolam Vahanvati, who was recently appointed as attorney general of India and alumnus of the 1969 batch, is the chief guest at the ceremony.

The Alumni Association of the college has organised an alumni event 'At Home' at 6pm to introduce the batch of 2009 to the older members.
