Bahrain, Sep 26: Konkani songs and innovative music have come a long way. Despite the demand market being rather low, we have creative Konkani albums lining up for release, frequently. However, there is no dearth for the music lovers. Though buyers are few, listeners are large in numbers. Well, the reasons are very clear.

On the contrary, it is now on the commendable effort by the dedicated Konkani lovers of Bahrain - sparing time, money and energy for the love of Konkani music, that this musical album consisting of 15 soul-stirring songs will be released soon.

This is a musical effort by the Konkans of Bahrain and the album is titled ‘Pressure Cooker Sasumai’

The album has meaningful songs on parents, in-laws, priests, irksome men and an emotional song on the memories of Father titled “Pappa Khain Asai…..”

Moreover, perhaps for the first time, there are two songs dedicated to the nurses in a Konkani album. eOther songs embrace the crux of silver jubilee (Rupyale Ullas), Ex prisoners’ life in the society (Marga Degeche So’rdar), invocation preceding a stage programme (Karyachi Survath), etc.

    Getting curious Looking at the title of the Album. Surely there will be very interesting Songs. Looking forward for the release of the CD and have one copy. All the best Bahrain Konkani Porza. Usually we see lot of Support to Konkani Language and its artist in GCC. Long Live Konkani

    Bahrain konkani community is a talent hub with lots of poets and renowned singers. This particular album " Pressure Cooker Sasumai" is a massive project carried out by them. Waiting for the final output in our hands, the curiosity is on after seeing the name of the album. I urge my brothern to support the hardwork of our fellow brothers by buying the music album and ask near and dear to buy and support this.
