Mangaluru: Reverential tribute to Mahatma Gandhiji paid at St Ann’s TTI

Mangaluru, Oct 4: St Ann’s Teacher Training Institute, Mangaluru held 150th Gandhi Jayanthi celebration in the institution on October 2.

The teacher trainees presented Gandhian principles and ideologies through a beautiful programme. There was also a heart touching depiction of his life enacted by the students. In the programme, the entire body of students and the teaching faculty took an oath to eradicate plastics, in order to make the nation a plastic free country.



Sr M Shubha A C, the college principal, invited the students in her address, to work towards the revival of Gandhian dreams i.e. to provide Basic Education, build Swaccha Bharath, Eradication of Untouchability, promotion of Girls’ education etc.

Thereafter students joined hands in shramadan and cleaned the entire college campus.
