Bengaluru, Oct 23: State home minister Basavaraj Bomai, said that there is no question of dropping National Register of Citizens of India (NRC). He clarified that the NRC policies are formulated and executed by the central government.

Speaking to reports at Vidhana Soudha here on Tuesday October 22, Bommai said that the government is currently pooling information in the state, which would be forwarded to union home ministry, duly adding that the home ministry will take a final call on the issue.

The minister hastened to clarify that the Detention Centre being constructed near Nelamangala in the city outskirts has nothing to do with the NRC. He said that the detention centre is being built by social welfare department and that it will become functional shortly. He also clarified that people who overstay their visa and passport expiry dates in India would be found and lodged in this centre. Their details would be sent to the embassies of their respective countries and with their help, arrangements would be made to send them back to their countries, he added.

On the issue of explosion at Hubballi railway station, the minister said that the state police, along with police from Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, have been investigating the incident from all angles. He confirmed that no one has been arrested in this case so far.

Bommai said that investigation is now going on about who sent the parcel and how it reached this particular railway station. He refused to go into the details till the investigation reached its logical conclusion.

The death toll in Karnataka flood fury crossed more than 76. Over 992 livestock were also killed due to the heavy rains. Around 103 taluks in 22 districts of the state have been badly hit with over 6.9 lakh hectares of crop losses.
But State BJP home minister Basavaraj Bomai, the priority seems to 'detention center' rather than rebuilding shelter for the needy. When it comes to the flood victim the BJP government under CM Yedruappa has no money. But have plenty of money to build the Hitlers model of 'Concentration camp'.
The party has enough money to shop opposition MLA's so that they can spend on luxury 'Rolls Royce'.

Mr.Bomai seems to be working in the party late Jan Sangh Home Minister Dr. Acharya, under his ministry, Muslim youth were picked without charges and made to spend a decade in prison.

When Humanity diminishes the value of life becomes negligible. That's was Home Minister action prompts for...
Why the BJP and Mr.Bomai is silence on Hubli Court Yard bomb blast that propped the name Ram Sena's Mutalik?
Why the BJP government sideline the Writer Gauri Lankesh murder case?

The NRC, Detention center, warning of terror suspect arrest seems looks like grand preparation for bye poll elections or in case BJP government dissolved for reelection.

Clearly amit shah said these NRC is not for Christians, Hindus and any other non Muslims including people came from Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan only if he is Hindu NRC will not be considered.

This means he is pointing to only Muslims in whole country. Poor people will suffer and Rich any ways they will have some documents of property owned by their ancestors.

Amit shah with no brain has introduced such thing to harm poor people like they did it in Demonetization
