This is a great idea from the forest dept.  Voluteers should be available in plenty during the school holiday season, people going on leave from the gulf specially the unmarried youth. Such tourist spots should be developed to lure the tourists, that is what Kerala Govt is doing we are lacking in this.

This is a fantastic news because Konaje Kallu has a special attraction for me since I grew up in the Karanje Village, near Moodbidri, in the vicinity of this famous Stone, and the first glance in the morning I used to cast was at this massive sight! I have now moved away but whenever I travel on the route from Karkal to Belthangady via Moodbidri or Shirthadi,

I come across this famous site and lots of memories of my childhood bring back to me. I wish the Moodbidri Forest Division all the very best in their endeavours to develop the Hariyappana Kere and the Konaje Kallu into a Resort and Tourist Spot.
