Bengaluru: Retired judge B S Patil appointed as deputy Lokayukta of Karnataka

Bengaluru, Nov 21: Retired judge of high court Justice B S Patil is appointed as the new deputy Lokayukta of the state. The governor has put his confirmation on the file and Patil will be sworn in at 5 pm on Thursday, November 21 at Raj Bhavan. Many eminent personalities, including Yediyurappa, will take part in the event.

Justice B S Patil has served as a judge in the high court for a long period of 14 years. He was a lawyer for 20 years before assuming the post of judge in the high court. The single judge bench led by Justice B S Patil had ordered a stay on the inquiry of present CM B S Yediyurappa on the private complaint filed by Sirajin Pasha and Balaraj on the Arkavati Layout denotification case.

The objection against the stay given by judge B S Patil, was inquired by justice N Kumar and Justice Aravinda Kumar and the two judge bench had given the stay for the order given by the single judge bench of B S Patil.

The bench led by justice N Kumar had given an objection to the stay ordered by justice B S Patil on the basis of the Supreme Court order that it is not possible to give stay on the inquiry conducted by subordinate court.

    When he has already retired , why hire him for a new position ? No other candidate is available /eligible ? If unemployment is increasing , its only because of this culture in government sector .

    We need strict regulations not allowing family members taking up jobs and filling up places when another family member retires or both husband/wife /kids holding government positions at the same time . strictly follow retirement age . If they wish to work after retirement , to give up all compensations(pensions) for the rest of their lifetime . Crime increases only when unemployment does . If we make a survey among government sector jobs ,50% or more have crossed retirement age and still mint money from continuous salary +pensions , which is unjust to the society.

    How many young people are there with out job
    Why they are appointing retired people I really don’t understand
    Give chance to unemployed
    Is it not enough for these retired people
    Let them sit and eat whatever they earned

    This is the very thought I have in my mind. Retirement age should be reduced to 55 and not increased.

    But we Indians will never improve. We will never pressurize the governments for these things. RAther we will walk behind people like chaiwala and daku, who fool us in he name of Hindutva, article 370, Ram Janmbhoomi, NRC etc etc.

    With out power and ACB has to deal cases,the lokhayuktha office may be closed and there can be saving to treasury.the ruling and opposition demand is the same. It is good the appointment s are made people before retirement age

    This is called recruiting people who are hand in glove with the administration. This so called justice gave stay on Yediyurappa denotification case. So he is rewarded duly now..

    In the news read "The single judge bench led by Justice B S Patil had ordered a stay on the inquiry of present CM B S Yediyurappa on the private complaint filed by Sirajin Pasha and Balaraj on the Arkavati Layout denotification case.

    This is the main reason why this gentleman is recruited!!!
    everything and everyone is on sale in this country now..enjoy Jai everything and everyone in this Sanatana country
