Udupi: Private website in Kollur temple’s name, complaint registered

Udupi, Nov 24: Aravinda A Sutagundi, executive officer of Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple has registered a complaint with the CEN crime police station of the district saying that a private website is functioning in the name of the temple with respect to the services offered and cheating the devotees.

In the complaint, it is alleged that, "Though there is official service counter as well as website in the temple, unknown people, without taking any permission from the temple administration committee, have opened a private website in the name of 'supportmookambika.co.in' and have taken more money than fixed from the devotees for advance booking of services like Chandika Homa and other rituals that are conducted in the temple."
