Mangaluru: Serial killer Cyanide Mohan convicted in 18th murder case

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Nov 24: The murder of a young woman from Kasargod by the serial lady killer Cyanide Mohan was proved at the sixth district and sessions court here on November 22. The quantum of punishment will be announced on November 26.

According to the details of this case, Mohan befriended a 28-year-old woman, beedi labourer, at the Kumble bus stand of Kasargod district in April 2009. Mohan introduced himself as Anand Poojary to the woman. He took her to a lodge in Kushalnagar on May 21, 2009 and had physical contact with her by promising that he would marry her. The following day morning, he took her to the nearby bus stand and gave her a cyanide tablet saying that it was the pregnancy prevention pill. The woman, who believed in killer Mohan, took the same in the toilet of the bus stand and died instantly. Mohan went to the lodge and took her gold ornaments and escaped from the spot.

The deceased woman had told her parents that she was going to her grandmother's house at Perla. When she did not return even after three days and also could not be contacted over the phone, the concerned parents had filed a missing case at the local police station. After Mohan was arrested in September 2009, this incident had come to light.

This is the 18th murder case of Cyanide Mohan. Public prosecutor Jayaram Shetty had argued for the prosecution in this case.

I have worked before in Riyadh, There is a place called (batha) in the city just like our market place in Mangalore. Close to batha there is an execution square near a mosque. Every Friday people gather to watch execution of criminals convicted in the act. Crimes like rapes, murders, Extortionists, organized crimes and other adulteries etc are precisely dealt with religious police. There are no place or powers for civil police or judges. If this FRIDAY if a man is caught in murder or rape or any other serious acts. Next FRIDAY the execution square in batha will be an event place for criminal's final day. A religious executioner comes in a van with his 4.5 feet sword and from behind dismantles body and head of the criminals. No pity , No mercy. No guilty, No affectionate. An evil is eliminated precisely. A justice is done within 7 days. No law, No hell of courts. But in Hindusthan people who commit murders, extortion and organized crimes are very lucky. Even they get free food and accommodation in jails.

well said Dandomino, even i have visited this place....

This is the right punishment for JUSTICE... If same law introduced in india. do you think anyone dare to commit rape? This is the main reason per guinness record book the least crime rate country in the world is saudi arabia.

I remember, once ADVANI said in parliament that rapist should be dealt with the method saudi follows.....

I just wonder how many innocent people have been executed by these executioners. In a country like Saudi without proper judicial system, innocent people can be implicated and they will have no chance
at all in proving their innocence.

For your information, so far no innocent people are executed, this is the beauty of sharia law. please double check my statement.

Rajiv gandhi killers are still in jail since 28 years in spite crime was proved at the initial stage itself? Do you mean! Is this JUDICIAL SYSTEM ?
