Mangaluru: Timing dispute - Worker stabs supervisor of fish meal unit

Mangaluru, Nov 26: A worker employed in a fish meal unit at Ullal stabbed the supervisor with a knife on Monday November 25. The incident is said to have happened on the issue of marking the attendance. 

The injured was admitted into a hospital where he is said to be recovering. A case in this respect was registered in Ullal police station. The attacker has been named as Rika alias Rikaz while the victim is Shakir Ismail. 


It is said that verbal friction took place between Rikaz and Ismail over late reporting for duty. After stabbing Ismail, the worker fled from there. The police are investigating.
