Kundapur: Police rescue 26 cattle transported illegally, detain truck driver

Kundapur, Dec 3: Byndoor police intercepted and inspected Leyland truck plying from Bhatkal to Kundapur which was transporting cattle. They rescued 26 cattle being illegally transported, seized the vehicle and detained the truck driver. 

The incident happened at Byndoor junction on Tuesday, December 3. 

Police personnel, who received definite information, intercepted the vehicle at around 11 am.

 

The rescued cattle included buffaloes and calves. Police have registered a case.

    They look like ( He/She) Buffaloes (not Cows) and after looking into the physical condition of these cattle, the Beef eaters must think 100 times. Poor animals must have been kept in captivity without proper care and feed. Haram to those who are involved in such activities.
    In other countries cattle is fed well and slaughtered for human consumption. That is fair enough.

    Pilfering cattle, continues without fear or any respect, for law..... Stringent measures, will bring this disgusting practice, under control.. Firstly the accused vechile's, land bank accounts, property must be immediately confiscated n auctioned..... Rigorous Imprisonment for 10 years....these marauding butchers, will only then fear and heed the laws, of our nation !!!!!!

    Make legal every problem will be solved. Let's learn the lesson from world's only Hindu state Nepal where cow slaughter is not an issue for a common Hindu nor for any political party. Animals especially buffaloes are sacrificed during Temple festivals in thousands. Here in India cows is becoming triumph card for politicians.
