It's humbling to see that our vision of a multi-modal mobility solution is fitting so well in the everyday life of Indian riders, and that they are taking to our many convenient, reliable and affordable offerings," said Prabhjeet Singh (Head of Cities), India and South Asia, Uber.

Delhi and Bengaluru recorded the highest and the second-highest number of overall Uber trips. Bengaluru was also the city with the highest number of people opting for UberPOOL rides, followed by the national capital.

"We are committed to continuing our efforts to provide seamless mobility to riders in 2020 and beyond," Singh said.
