Daijiworld Media Network - Shivamogga (SP)

Shivamogga, Jan 10: The police here have, to their surprise, found that theft is being run professionally by a person from Andhra Pradesh. The boss disburses salary to the thieves he has employed regularly. In case of more efficient thieves, he also pays them bonus.

The police, perplexed by increasing number of thefts in and around Thirthahalli area in the district, followed up the cases with determination and realized that it was the handiwork of a gang of inter-state thieves. After prolonged efforts, they caught hold of Kartik and Karikeyan from Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu. The arrested thieves gave them some interesting information.

The thieves said that a gang leader from Andhra Pradesh had appointed eight teams for thefts in Malnad area. He used to collect stolen items and disposed them off himself, and paid salary and bonus to thieves. He also has fanned out teams to Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, the thieves have revealed.

The thieves mainly kept an eye on those who withdrew money from banks and stole from them. The police, in order to escape getting recognized, grew beard for two months. Police circle inspector, Ganeshappa, also tried his best. The police who grew suspicious at the moves of Kartik and Karikeyan who were near the bank, caught them after kicking the bike they were moving on and arresting them once they fell down.

District superintendent of police Shantaraj, additional superintendent of police Dr Shekharappa, Tankannavar, guided the police team headed by Thirthahalli deputy superintendent of police Ravikumar and circle inspector Ganeshappa.

When the country is led by feku and dakus, this is quite common.

God knows this business must be there all around the country since 2014.

But these issues are minor. More important are NRC and CAA
