Bannaje Raja to be Freed in Dubai?

Bannaje Raja to be Freed in Dubai?
Daijiworld Media Network - Dubai (SP)

Dubai, Oct 14: Even Two days after the arrest of the most wanted underworld fugitive Bannanje Raja, Karnataka policemen are yet to receive any official confirmation or intimation from Dubai police about his arrest.

A Karnataka police official said that the UAE government requires lot of paper work to be completed in order to extradite a person from there, and all these papers need to be translated into Arabic lanaugage according to the UAE's legal requirement. This hurdle has been taking a long time to communicate with the Dubai officials, he surmised.

However, reliable information received from Dubai confirms that the Dubai authorities have found no criminal antecedents or related cases pending against Bannanje, and that there has been no active communication from India relating to his extradition. Hence, in all probability, Bannanje Raja may be released either on bail or be freed without filing any cases, the source said.

Top police officials, both from Mangalore and Bangalore, have declined to issue any official statements about Bannaje's arrest, as they are yet to receive specific confirmation about the said arrest from their Dubai counterparts.

Bannanje Raja is wanted by the Karnataka police for several pending cases against him, which include murder, extortion, cheating etc. It may be recalled that Bannanje Raja was reportedly arrested from Dubai airport on Monday Oct 12, 2009, while trying to flee to Malaysia.

At the same time, western range inspector general of police, Gopal Hosur, asserted that there are no technical snags in getting Bannaje Raja deported from dubai, if it is true that he had been arrested by the policemen there. He said that the policemen here can take up the issue of bringing him here, only after receiving the official information of his arrest.

The interpol had earlier issued a red corner notice for the arrest of Bannanje Raja, who had hid in Dubai after committing several crimes in Karnataka.

Dear all, please try to understand – politicians yet to decide his fate, in fact Raja is still can do a lot for politicians and yet to jeopardy their lives. Police officials have to wait till they receive the instruction from related politicians to arrest and encounter. Bhaisab we are wasting our valuable time in religious issue. First let us tackle / send these politicians behind the bar or encounter as they do. At least new generation may enjoy fearless life.

The benefit of doubt goes to Anna-Bannanje Raja Alias R.K as the umpires on the ground could not take a decision whether he was out caught and was referred to the 3rd umpire. Now the third umpire says Anna is not out and to continue the game.We see disappointment all over the stadium in Karnataka as the team Karnataka was not able to dive and catch the ball quickly. This is a life given to the batsman and can expect more damage done to the opponents.

This same police did not lose time in beating and arresting christians when they protested the damage of their churches but find it difficult to arrest notorious gangsters. All sorts of cases have been filed against the protesters but they do not have enough records to arrage the repatriation of gangsters. Shame on you police who are paid salaries from our taxes but cannot give us good service in return.
