Dubai: USWAS Elects Oscar Rego as President

Dubi, Jan 18: Oscar Rego, an active Shirva Parishioner, residing in Dubai, elected as the president of
USWAS (U.A.E’s St. Mary’s Welfare Association, Shirva). USWAS came into existence at the end of December, 2002 and has successfully completed 7 years.
In a recently held meeting in Abu-Dhabi, the committee members of USWAS were gathered to elect the new managing committee for the year 2010.

The meeting started at 12.00 pm with the prayer from Nelson Castelino. President Vincent Corda welcomed all the committee members. After the election the outgoing Office Bearers thanked all the committee members and the members of USWAS for their cooperation and requested all to work together for better unity and to strengthen the Association. Newly elected president Oscar Rego requested all the Committee members for their full cooperation and assured to do his level best for the unity and to continue the good work.
To celebrate its 7th years existence, USWAS (Shirva) will celebrate “SHIRVA FEST-2010” on 12th February . It is an annual event of the association and will be open to all. More details will be followed soon.
