2 more injured in house collapse at Srinagar gunfight site succumb


Srinagar, May 24 (IANS): Two more civilians injured in a house collapse at an encounter site in Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar last week succumbed to their injuries on Sunday, taking the toll to three.

They have been identified as Fayaz Ahamd Bhat, 35, and an elderly person named Manzoor Ahmad.

They had were among the four people who recieved grevious injuries when the debris of the house collapsed after the encounter had got over on Tuesday, with the killing of two Hizbul Mujahideen militants including Junaid Sehrai.

On Wednesday, a 12-year-old identified as Basim Aejaz, who also injured in the house collapse, died.
