Bantwal: 30-year-old dies after lorry smashes into two-wheeler at BC Road

Bantwal, Jun 16: A youth was killed in an accident here on Tuesday June 16.

The deceased has been identified as Ritesh (30), a resident of Punjarakodi.

The accident took place near BC Road circle. Ritesh was riding home after work when a lorry smashed into his two-wheeler.


Ritesh was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru, however, as he had sustained serious head injuries, he failed to respond to treatment and passed away.

Melkar traffic police arrived at the accident spot and registered a case.

    Deaths by road accidents in DK & Udupi are more than any epidemic and pandemics . Yet the authorities display blind eye and does not bot her having proper traffic safety or monitoring systems.
