Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru
Mangaluru, Jun 17: Kavoor police detained a man who was creating nuisance using the name of Daijiworld media here at Bondel on Wednesday June 17.
The arrested has been identified as Loy Jossy Monteiro.
Loy, who was reportedly in a drunken state, first threatened a Primary Health Centre (PHC) staff at Bondel over a phone call claiming himself to be a staff of Daijiworld. He later visited the PHC and threatened the staff present over there.
Loy's wife is three-months’ pregnant. There is a procedure of getting a health card signed during the eight month of pregnancy. Loy threatened the staff claiming himself to be a staff of Daijiworld and to get the card signed early. Further, he said that if the staff cannot respond to a ‘media person’s’ call, how they would respond to the common people.
The doctor who was supposed to at the PHC was on duty at the airport till 3 am and was taking rest.
