Mangalore, Mar 11: Renowned Islamic scholar, Al Haj Twaka Ahmed Musliyar, who has been chosen to succeed the previous Kazi, the late C M Abdulla Musliyar Chembarikka, who breathed his last under suspicious circumstances on February 15, will be take charge as the new Mangalore Kazi on March 20 at 4.00 pm.
Al Haj Hyderali Shihab Thangal will ceremoniously hand over the position to the new Kazi at a function to be held at Zeenat Baksh Mosque in the city. Central Jumma Masjid president, Haji Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, has requested all the Muslim leaders and office-bearers of all the mosques among others to participate in the function.
