The group had also intended to kidnap a jeweller from the city”, informed Gopal B Hosur, inspector general of police (IGP), on Monday April 12.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that the arrest of 12 people had revealed their conspiracy to kill a practicing advocate in the city in retaliation for last year’s murder of another advocate.
