'Dubai Ki Shaam...' : Rafi Musical Fever Heats Up

Dubai, Apr 14: The countdown has begun for a rare Mohd Rafi musical nite, ‘Dubai Ki Shaam, Rafi Ke Naam’, to be staged at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, Karama, on Friday April 30.
Melodious memories of Mohd Rafi, the singing legend of Bollywood, will come to life at the musical thriller on Friday at 6.30 pm.
The event organizer ‘Sound Lines’ says that, “This is a ‘one off’ tribute show to singing legend Mohd Rafi by Tagore Das of Mangalore who can sing ‘ditto’ like Rafi. Tagore Das is known as the ‘ditto Rafi’ in India for his singing talents and has performed in more than 6,000 shows all over India.”
He will arrive in Dubai with his troupe to perform at the event. Supporting him will be the energetic Anita and Shobana of ‘Sa-re-ga-ma’ fame with their fine voices.
According to the organizers, all lovers of Rafi’s music can expect a classic show filled with numerous songs of the legend in different styles and tunes. Famous music director Pappan from Calicut will be the music director for this show.

RJ Sahil from India will compere the show in his own, well-known, style. Rafi was the voice of top stars and had all time hits which are adored even today. A full house is guaranteed at this unique musical event.
