Abu Dhabi , Apr 14 : Artistes who are scheduled to perform started to arrive in Abu Dhabi and Dubai yesterday and this morning and are very excited to be part of the high profile event – the “Mangalorean Day 2010” organized by Konkani Cultural Organization (K.C.O.) - Abu Dhabi’s premium organization.
The artistes from Mangalore – Adolph Jayathilak, Prakash and Lovita arrived in Abu Dhabi from Mangalore yesterday afternoon and Goa’s Nightingale Lorna along with Norman arrived in Dubai early this morning. Others artistes are due to arrive this evening.
The artistes were received at the airports by Gerald D’Mello - K.C.O.'s President along with other Committee Members.
All the artistes have promised to give their fans a great time and are enthusiastic and are glad to be in Abu Dhabi to perform on Friday 16 April at Abu Dhabi Sheraton.
The combination of Mangalorean and Goan artistes, both young and old will surely elevate the days proceedings. It is unfortunate that many Konkani lovers will miss this golden opportunity as all the Entry Coupons are sold out much in advance.
KCO Members are all set to welcome the audience to this full day’s non stop event of fun, dance, music, gifts and sumptuous food.
