London, Apr 18 (IANS): British actress Gemma Arterton has established herself as a successful Hollywood actress, but says she wants to maintain her association with smaller productions.
The actress, who found fame in Hollywood with blockbusters like "Clash of the Titans" and James Bond film "Quantum of Solace", felt it was "refreshing" to return to Britain to shoot a new thriller, "The Disappearance of Alice Creed".
She is set to feature alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in upcoming adventure movie "Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time".
"These are the sort of movies I am proud of and I will continue to make films like this. This is the sort of movie I always imagined I'd end up doing. This is the sort of movie I'd go to see in the cinema. It's basic, there are no frills with this sort of thing - it's refreshing for you when you're involved in the Hollywood machine," Arterton was quoted as saying by dailyexpress.co.uk.
"I've been very lucky in what I've been offered, and didn't know I'd get 'Prince of Persia’ and that kind of movie," she added.
